What are Characters?
Characters are the people, animals, or creatures that appear in your videos. When you create a character in Veediogram, the AI remembers exactly what they look like.
This means whether your character appears in Episode 1 or Episode 100, they'll always look the same! No more worrying about your main character suddenly changing hair color.
1Creating a New Character
- Click "Characters" in the sidebar menu
- Click the "Create Character" button
- Enter a name for your character (e.g., "Luna", "Mr. Robot", "Captain Blue")
Naming tip
Use simple, memorable names. Avoid complicated spellings that might confuse the AI.
2Writing a Great Description
The description is the most important part! This tells Veediogram exactly what your character looks like.
Include these details:
👤 Physical appearance
Age, height, body type, skin tone
💇 Hair and face
Hair color / style, eye color, facial features
👕 Clothing
What they typically wear (outfit, colors, accessories)
✨ Personality vibe
Cheerful, mysterious, friendly, shy, brave
✅ Good example:
"Luna is an 8-year-old girl with long curly purple hair and bright green eyes. She has light brown skin and a friendly smile. She wears a yellow dress with white polka dots and red sneakers. She's cheerful and curious."
❌ Too vague:
"Luna is a young girl who likes to explore."
3Generating a Character Image
Once you've written your description, Veediogram can create a reference image for your character.
- After entering the description, click "Generate Image"
- Wait a few seconds while the AI creates options for you
- If you like the result, click "Use This Image"
- If you want something different, click "Regenerate"
Don't worry!
You can regenerate as many times as you need. Each generation uses a small amount of credits.
4Using Characters in Episodes
Once your character is created, you can add them to any episode:
- Go to "Episodes" and create or edit an episode
- In the scene description, mention your character by name
- Select your character from the "Characters" dropdown
- Veediogram will automatically use their reference image!
Pro tip
You can add multiple characters to the same scene. Just select all the characters that appear in that scene.
Common Questions
Can I edit a character after creating it?
Yes! Click on any character to edit their name, description, or regenerate their image.
How many characters can I create?
There's no limit! Create as many characters as your stories need.
Can I use the same character in different projects?
Yes! Characters can be linked to multiple Show Bibles and used across different projects.
